Hello, I’m Chan Newell, Web Designer of Hazlehurst Now.
I’m a former educator with 31 years of full-time work in teaching and technology leadership in both K-12 and postsecondary education. I’ve been building websites since the dial-up modem days of the mid 1990s, and since retiring in 2021 I’ve been able to expand the scope of my web design and media development work to include new local projects like Hazlehurst Now.
I’m excited to be a part of the team at Hazlehurst Now and can’t wait to share our new website with the people of Hazlehurst and Jeff Davis County. It is our goal to make the site your go-to source for local news that matters to you.
