At just 11 years old, Lily Ann Crosby of Jeff Davis County has earned her fifth National Showmanship Championship, adding another remarkable accomplishment to an already impressive livestock showing career.
Lily Ann Crosby, daughter of Richard and Jayme Crosby, was named Junior Showmanship Champion at the 2026 National Junior Summer Spectacular, held June 30 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The national championship marks Lily Ann’s fifth National Showmanship title, an accomplishment that reflects years of dedication, hard work, and countless hours spent preparing and exhibiting livestock.
A Passion That Started Early
Lily Ann’s love for showing pigs began at an incredibly young age. She entered her first jackpot show at just 2 years old and, according to her family, “has been hooked ever since.” Since then, she has become one of the area’s most accomplished young exhibitors, earning 84 belt buckles throughout her career. Her next goal? One hundred belt buckles.
While she’s celebrating another national championship, Lily Ann is already focused on what’s next. Her favorite event each year is the Georgia National Fair, and she is currently preparing her pigs for this year’s competition in October.
Dreaming Big
Lily Ann has no plans of slowing down. She hopes to one day compete in major livestock shows in Texas and New York, both home to prestigious national competitions. Looking even further into the future, she dreams of attending college, joining a livestock judging team, and eventually becoming a livestock judge herself. One of her biggest aspirations is to return to a national show—not as a competitor, but as the person judging the Showmanship competition.
