Welcome Madison Britt as the county’s new 4-H Agent! Madison is bringing with her experience in youth development, agriculture, and educational programming. Britt joins the Jeff Davis County Extension team after serving four years as the Coffee County 4-H Agent, where she led educational programs, coordinated the 4-H livestock program and BB team, and assisted with agriculture and natural resources programming.
In announcing her arrival, Jeff Davis County Extension shared the following message: “Please help Jeff Davis County Extension | 4-H welcome Madison Britt as the new Jeff Davis County 4-H Agent. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Master’s in Middle Grades Education, she worked as the Coffee County 4-H Agent. For four years, she led the educational program, 4-H livestock program, and BB team as well as assisting with agriculture and natural resources programming in Coffee County. We are excited to have Madison join Jeff Davis 4-H and look forward to the knowledge and enthusiasm she brings. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and watching sports. Georgia 4-H is the nation’s largest youth leadership organization, offering opportunities for students to develop leadership, public speaking, citizenship, agriculture, STEM, and life skills through hands-on learning experiences. As Jeff Davis County students begin another school year, Britt will play an important role in helping local youth grow through the many programs and activities offered by 4-H.
