Residents interested in seeking the Ward 4 seat on the Hazlehurst City Council will have the opportunity to qualify beginning Monday, August 17, for the upcoming November 3, 2026, Special Election. According to the official qualifying notice, candidates may qualify Monday, August 17, through Wednesday, August 19, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. The qualifying period will officially end at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19.
