Bridgeford Church of God is welcoming new pastoral leadership as Pastors Brent and Michelle Griffin begin their ministry in Hazlehurst and Jeff Davis County. Married since 2001, the Griffins bring with them a heart for serving others, building relationships, and helping people grow in their faith.
As they begin this new chapter, the Griffins say they are excited not only to serve the congregation of Bridgeford Church of God but also to become an active part of the Jeff Davis County community. They are passionate about building relationships, supporting local families, and being involved in the life of the community they now call home.
Together, Brent and Michelle are dedicated to helping people encounter the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and grow into all God has called them to be.
Family plays a central role in their lives and ministry. They are the proud parents of three children who are pursuing their own educational and career goals. Their oldest daughter, Shelby, is completing her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Language Disorders. Their daughter, Raegan, is pursuing her passion through cosmetology school, while their son, Brentley, attends Brewton-Parker College, where he is studying Pastoral Leadership with a minor in Business.
The Griffins also have a deep passion for investing in the next generation.
“As a family, we are passionate about raising up the next generation to know God, love His Word, and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Our desire is to see sons and daughters filled with the Spirit, firmly grounded in truth, and boldly living out their faith. We believe this generation is like arrows in the hand of a warrior—prepared, sharpened, and released to go farther than those who came before them, piercing the darkness with the light of Christ and advancing the Kingdom of God.”
Whether through preaching, discipleship, mentoring, or simply building meaningful relationships, the Griffins hope to be a source of encouragement and hope for those they serve. Their ministry is centered on helping people discover God’s purpose for their lives while creating a welcoming church family where everyone feels valued and loved.
As Bridgeford Church of God begins this new season of ministry, the Hazlehurst and Jeff Davis County community joins the congregation in extending a warm welcome to Pastors Brent and Michelle Griffin and their family. Hazlehurst Now welcomes the Griffin family to our community and wishes them God’s blessings as they begin this new chapter of ministry at Bridgeford Church of God.
